We’ve been back in Sierra Leone a full month, and our life is finally settling into something of a routine. This month, we opened the church doors and hosted the first “Game Night.” It was a great time of fun and fellowship with nearly forty people (including several guests) in attendance. Some of these guests have returned for the Sunday morning services. It’s exciting to see God strengthening the fellowship among church members while also introducing new people. We pray that the visitors will continue coming and remain open to the Gospel message. We are anticipating the next “Game Night” planned for late November as well as a special service dedicated to thanking God for all of His many blessings.

These past weeks we’ve also seen one young man make a profession of faith in Christ as well as several express their need for baptism. We are beyond blessed to witness God working in these lives! Soon we will be holding baptism services for these believers.

Moving forward, the search for property for a new church plant as well as launching a sports ministry continues . Location on the peninsula and accessibility to a main road are imperative. Traditionally, real estate searches in Sierra Leone can be complex and the process is very time consuming, but we trust in our Lord’s perfect timing and plan.

Prayer Requests:

  1. Discipleship of new believers
  2. Property search for the next church plant
  3. Upcoming events at the church
