September brought us back to the East Coast. While we have been blessed with many appointments, we were also able to visit with family and friends and begin our first year as homeschoolers! Though God has filled most of this year’s calendar, we were able to squeeze in a few more appointments for 2019 and also begin scheduling meetings for 2020.
During our visits this month, we have already been affirmed by four new partners and received confirmation from some of our summer visits. God is so good to our family and we are right on track in reaching our support goals! We will be traveling for the months of October and November to the Northeast and Midwest. We covet your prayers for our family in health, new partners, schooling, travel, and opportunity to share Christ with those we meet along the way.
As we begin to approach the Christmas offering season we would ask that you prayerfully consider adding our family and ministry to your list of “special projects.” We have begun the process of raising additional funds for our set up expenses and our goal is to have the funding for these expenses raised before May of 2020. If you are interested in contributing a Christmas gift and would like a detailed list of our needs please feel free to contact us.
August 2019 Ministry Update
We concluded our summer’s journey with a grand total of 13,600 miles traveled and several new partners for our work in Sierra Leone! During the entirety, we experienced no mechanical issues, no accidents, and no ill- health. Praise the Lord for a productive season! Thank you all for the prayers that went before us in our deputation travels.
We are once more on the East Coast, continuing with a full schedule meetings, scheduling of new appointments for the upcoming year, and beginning the new school year for the children. It will continue to be a busy season, and we are excited to see the Lord work!
Here are some things to pray for:
Continue to pray for our family as we travel.
Pray that God will continue to provide faithful partners in the mission.
Christin’s mother’s health.
The people and the ministry in Sierra Leone
July 2019 Ministry Update
This month we had a continued busy schedule on the West Coast sharing our call to Sierra Leone. God has been faithful to provide us with new partners in the mission and we know your prayers have gone before us in our travels and meetings. Thank you!
We continue in the Pacific Northwest for the next few weeks before turning eastward again. As always, please continue to intercede on our behalf for continued safety, health, and the mission partners our Lord has for us. Additionally, we have some new, specific requests:
- Shaun with the scheduling of new appointments for 2020.
- The children as they prepare for their first year of homeschooling.
- Christin’s mother who has received a poor and concerning health report.
June 2019 Ministry Update
Our family left home the first Monday of June for many appointments spanning the Southwest and West Coast. We have had the privilege to share our burden and call to reach Sierra Leone with the Gospel in many churches throughout Texas, New Mexico, Nevada, and Arizona. God faithfully continues to provide safety, new partners and friends in the ministry, as well as additional appointments with potential new partners.
As we share our ministry, we have been encouraged and blessed by many with their love of the Lord and His plan for local and foreign missions. As we continue our travels on the West Coast, we are thankful for your prayers on our behalf!
May 2019 Ministry Update
May has been an incredibly busy month! Shaun finished his degree, Christin and the children ended their school year, many weekends were filled with appointments, and planning for three months of deputation travels was underway. God continues to bless us with many opportunities to share the field of Sierra Leone and to continue growing our financial support. Thank you for your faithful prayers as we travel west throughout the summer as we have many many scheduled meetings spanning the Southwest and West Coast.
